Outfit from March through May 2022.
For February 22nd, 2022, I committed to the personal self indulgence of whipping up a blog post for each major outfit change I have used in Phantasy Star Online 2 since the global servers launched.
I appreciate anyone who was humoring this particular stunt. But I am also not without self awareness.
The next time I put a costume together in May, I wanted something which I would use for a few months before archiving it here.
As someone who has used an anime avatar of Hiromi Oka from Aim for the Ace for several years, spring sportswear came to mind. As well as some of the messier aspects of the weather, as things transition from winter to summer.
I came to pare a selection of sportier items with a chunky plain sweater.
I may not have been as fantastical as many other players around me during these months.
But, I do enjoy how the look came together. As if my character is going to or from practice, while also being ready for any other plans. From seasonal cherry blossom events to general sightseeing, this outfit indeed proved itself to be quite reliable.
Which is what you want out of a sports jacket, I feel.
Something you can just grab and have with you, and even make memories.
