Outfit from July 2021.
As New Genesis launched in June, its birthday will always be back to back with the entire other game it shares a home with.
This July, classic PSO 2 celebrated being nine years old.
While we may be in a new setting location and set of circumstances, I remain the same character. And I sure do have all of this idol merchandise…
So, my plan this anniversary month was to pile on as much stuff as possible for the concert singer who gave us so many boosts throughout PSO 2: Quna.
Quna outfit, Quna cotton candy, Quna keychain, etc.
I more or less imagined myself as an event tour guide or amusement park hawker.
Which, given the new title release and several additional friends wanting to give it a whirl, kind of lined up with what I was doing in game.
With the new engine and accessory system, players no longer have four slots total to work with. Instead, each item now costs a certain number of “points” to wear. Which are at least somewhat relative to its polygon budget. We can use up to eighteen points of accessories.
I have way, way more than eighteen points of Quna accessories. I had to drop quite a few.
Of what did make it, having two cotton candy bags in different styles adds to the festival worker look.
Trying to get the keychain locked onto a part of the outfit to look like it is hanging off a zipper pull is the most difficult manipulation of every X, Y, and Z axis I have ever felt a need to attempt.
I think it took about an hour of testing, all told.
But, I like the effect of having the Quna keychain jangle around in a prominent spot.
Maybe as an amusement park ID card lanyard, maybe as if it was also something else for sale.
All for trying to represent an idol, uh, nobody on Halpha would know…
